This is not the usual me. I don't usually camwhore in washroom because i think well its funny. Some washroom are just icky and smelly and what's nice to take picture in washroom? So here I am something different

Never knew the existence of this place until my friend brought me there. Its a club washroom. Well actually there's nothing much to scream about. Its just better and private compared to the typical mall washroom. You have the whole space by yourself.

I had fun on that day. Went window shopping and got what I wanted. Not practically all that i wanted. It was love at first sight for that clutch! But I ended up not buying it :( yea because i kept asking myself ‘is it necessary?‘ and telling myself ‘you don't have much to spend‘. Therefore, i gave up on it. I regretted when I got home. So let me whine here a bit to express my regrets. Don't dwell, dont dwell. Better things will come or a better bargain when the season ends? Be positive! And thank you my friend for bringing me out that day :) and I'm happy and glad to meet up my uni best friend that came down from penang.

Coffee, Tea or Me?

Sorry for the hiatus. Someone recently told me that he read my blog. Thus reminding me that I HAVE a blog. Negligence so to say. Yes I'm back once in a full moon, maybe? Oh I don't know. I'll be writing whenever I feel like it :) So if its your luck there will be post updated when you drop by.

I remembered that long time ago, I drank a cup of white coffee and I felt dizzy and I wanted to puke. Then I ended up KO-ed on the sofa.

I love the scent of fresh coffee brewing but still I didn't even dared to touch coffee ever since. Even if I wanna stay awake, tea would always be my option.

I started off with drinking earl grey or green tea and then I started to get the hang of drinking coffee when I started my intern.Well not practically plain pure coffee cause I don't think my body can take those heavy shots of caffeine yet. Coffee and tea kept me awake in the office and gets me going with all the task given. Now I understand why most people working in the office needs coffee. Sounds like I'm joining the caffeine addict club soon eh?

1. Sluggish, heavy and fat due to the fact that I've been eating non stop for the past month.
2. Bored to dead ever since I've shifted to such a distance from my old place. Traveling anywhere would be a problematic one. Sigh... feeling distant from my friends too.
3. Not enough time to enjoy since there's only 24 hours left before I start my internship that is somehow referred as ‘worse than cheap labor‘ by my lecturer.

Yes, when I'm stress or bored I eat! That's why my weight fluctuates. Every time you see me I'm different in size. Now you know me. My girl friends in uni can't stand to be in campus for such a long time. So we decide to head out of town to take a breath of life *exhale inhales* Last two weeks, we went out to the one and only kopitiam with the Old Town cafe concept.

Carbonara and fruit rojak.

We ordered toasted bread with kaya, cola chicken, carbonara, rojak and cheese baked rice for just the 3 of us. Plenty of food but portion was small. Food was mediocre, except for the rojak. The prawn paste was so damn good. It really makes us crave for more.

Today, we went to another town. It is further from our uni. We went for Thai seafood.

I don't know what's wrong with us but we always ended up ordering way a lot and we didn't expect the portion would be this big. Yes it is for just the 3 of us also. There's 2 types of vege, seafood otak-otak, squid and fish. The food was highly seasoned. At first we still can accept it but we're getting full and the spicy-ness starting to kick in. We can't finish it. No choice la. Take our time to chow down everything. We were stuffed. Till now I'm still bloated and I can feel the spicy-ness in my tummy. Sigh... Total damage RM46.

Next week we plan to head to a much further place which is Penang island. Gosh I can't imagine how I'll look when I'm going back home. Gotta work the hell out of myself on the treadmill when I'm home. Konon-nya. Hehe.

Last month we need to make a visit outdoor for our curricular activities. Off we head to Perlis and the place is much more "jungle" than my uni. It's located at some remote orchard. For your info there's no tar road for cars. Therefore, we have to practically walk in. It's somehow a joint activity with a secondary school. My group are given the task to prepare and wrap hampers.Yo, community service you know. The bad part was, we're stranded there for around 6 hours. The food we ate there suck to the core. I forgot to took a picture of it. It's some "kuih" rice with just one small piece of chicken. I'm not picky on food but this is just so over because we had to pay yet we get this kind of rubbish food. Yuck!

I didn't expect I will get this much of presents on my birthday. Love you all so much! It's really sweet of you peeps. Especially this woman and the boyfriend.

I think both of them practically went on a shopping spree to buy my presents. When they asked me what I wanted, I was just telling them jokingly. But they really listened and granted my wish. Arif even planned and brought me to Sky Bar. They're just awesome people!

And lastly an exorbitant Chinese fine dining meal paid by my dad. A meal with abalone, shark's fin, pork ribs, huge scallops and prawns.

Watched Grown Ups and had pork burger! Well to me it was not as good as the ones that I had at Thailand's McD, samurai pork burger way back long time ago. The pork patty was pretty dry compared to samurai. Samurai one was tender and succulent. Oh gosh, it got me drooling by thinking about it. Moreover, samurai burger's portion is much larger than ninja. For me, Mr. Samurai won.

Shi Lin's mini birthday dinner.

As you know, it was my girlfriend's birthday. Practically there's nothing much to be done there for a birthday celebration, therefore we just went out for a very filling and value for money meal. We were so stuffed after that meal. When we're back in campus we went for a walk around the lake.

My uni is surrounded by mother nature. So pictures taken there is pretty scenic. But studying there is another story. Lol.

Since we're there, we played with the exercise facilities. It was fun trying out the different poses and "somehow" work out. Hahaha. We were laughing all the time. Brings back childhood memories too.

Last Week

Oh oh drama week! I had to rush back from my short holiday week to settle some issues with some PMS lecturer. I finally get to visit my new place with Angel. Too bad there's no picture taken at my new place. Dad was in a good mood to try out the one and only Starbucks drive-thru at Setia Alam. Off we went since it's darn near to our new place.

Sorry la. Can't take a better picture because I'm in the car. This is the best I can do.

I'm not a big fan of Starbucks cause it's darn pricey and I'm coffee intolerant. Four drinks and it cost us RM40 plus already. I prefer to spend it on shopping. Lol. Lucky dad was buying. Hehe.

Dad was in a good mood so after that I've asked him to drop us at Mid Valley to visit some online blogshop exhibition and a little shopping session.

During that week I've been going on a real buffet spree I tell you. Jogoya then steamboat buffet session with my family.

Getting over someone was never easy. Nothing is easy. Because it happened to be you playing the main character of the movie which is your life. You encounter it with your body and your mind. With all your senses, sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. Plus the feeling of it after your brain interprets all the senses together. Eventually it's already part of you and your memory. You'll never know that somehow it's already stored somewhere inside you. Even when you lose your memory due to some accident or unexpected reasons, deep down inside, if you dig deeper or something that triggers it, it will all come back to you. There is a lot of things that reminds me of him. Sometimes it's really strong like a wave that hit through me. Sometimes it's just something mild like a tingling sensation. My dear friends and I myself tell me, not to think about it, yet subconsciously I'm doing it. I guess my friends always being the caring ones will be disappointed with me.

About a year ago, my husband let me know that he couldn't figure me out and furthermore, he wasn't going to try anymore. I admit it, I can be hard to understand. I do change my mind alot and what I need today may not be exactly what I need tomorrow. Most women are like that. No person in a relationship (at least one that they want to keep) should ever give up on trying to figure out what it is that they can do to satisfy, pleasure, and enhance the lives of their partner. I do understand, though, that it can be difficult. It will take time, patience, and understanding for you men, but you can do it! If my husband, who is one of the most unromantic, uncreative, unfeminine men I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, is finally catching on, I have complete confidence in every other man as well.
Women's lib was to give women the freedom to have choices, not the freedom to take on all of mens' responsibilities. I want the choice to work outside the home, but I also want the choice not to. I want the option to wear pants, but I also want to dress up for him. I want to be allowed into a man's world, but I still want him to see me as a lady. And, I definitely want to keep my bra firmly attached and my legs shaved!

Even when I'm mad at him, I really do want a hug. I might put on a false facade that makes it appear that I'm pulling away, but it's all an act. I want him to put forth the effort to take me in his arms and tell me he loves me, faults and all. He is still my strength.

I need him to remember to appreciate all that I do. It's not that I want to be some kind of hero, but if I feel like I'm pleasing him, I only want to do better. A little gratitude will go a long way with me.

I want him to ask my opinion, maybe even my permission, before he makes big decisions. I wish he knew though, that it's not because I want to be in control. I want to feel like he values my opinion. If the truth were known, I would never say no to a man who treated me well, because my heart would want to see his desires fulfilled.

Even if I work for pay, I want him to be able to support me well. I don't want to have to use my money to pay the monthly bills because then I could never quit if I wanted to. Let me work, but let us use that money to have fun and enjoy life together.

When it seems like I'm not paying attention to him, it's not because I don't care or I'm not interested. I just have so much going on in my life with you and a family that I feel like my brain is on constant overload most of the time.

I wish he he knew that I want him to take me out once in a while. The trouble is that it's hard to arrange with all the various schedules and responsibilities of family life. Thus, I want him to arrange a date and everything that goes with it as a surprise for me, not all the time, but occasionally. I want to make memories with him.

Men and women truly are two of life's polar opposites, but as we learn what each of our needs are, we draw closer. Closer is stronger in relationships and there is an amazing transformation that happens to people who feel fulfilled by their partner. They are happier, healthier and more willing to give back as they are being given to.

Yo! I'm back for the week. *cheers* So this week I should have fun because when I'm back at uni it's all the workload that is coming. Sigh. Oh well... This is so far what I've done.

First stop Jogoya at Star Hill. I went there with babe, the boss, U-Jinn, Birdy and Ashur. It was so so only. Luckily they're having promotion. But I don't think it's that worth it. Sorry no food pictures. Just us. Haha. Too busy eating and trying all the Haagen Dazs ice cream flavors. So far I've only liked the ice cream. Too crowded and messy. I think I prefer Tenji.

For today, I went to renew my P license to the real one. So darn crowded and we ended up paying an agent extra just so we can get it done faster. I was getting so sleepy while waiting. Heck it la pay extra only.

After that we went for badminton. Yes badminton is it. It's been like ages since the last time I've hold a racquet. Awful player. Haha. But I'm quite satisfied with my performance today thanks to Angel and Tun Arif! My sifus! Haha. Both of them are really patient in teaching me because I know I suck at any sports that's related to balls or anything similar. It was really fun playing with them all.

For the past consecutively almost five days ago, I've been attending hours of boring talk or seminar. *yawn x100* Plus, due to the fact that I've not had sufficient sleep recent nights because of the damn insects that wouldn't spare me during the night and that sudden stomach ache that woke me up in the wee hours and the sudden hot weather change. I'm exhausted! All these is draining me. I'm loosing all my zest. I desperately need my comfort zone because I need to RECHARGE, damn it.

It's another early morning for me. I woke up around two something in the morning having stomach cramps due to the fact that I've got diarrhea yesterday night and I thought I could just sleep over it. So wrong. I had to wake up and take my med and there I was, frigging wide awake already. Lucky I've got this friend that is always awake at this timing that accompanied me. Sorry that I've made you worried la. He told me to make myself a warm drink so that I could get back to sleep easier. I did and I managed to catch a few hours of sleep. Thanks again :)

We have to attend this protocol and etiquette class at 8am. So I had to drag the tired me and my cramp stomach to listen to a whole 2 hours of talk and another 2 hours of ~~slow~~ etiquette eating.Could the day get any better. Hmmm...

Been kinda sick with the same old food all the time in campus. I don't know how they cook it. It's like diluted and no taste at all.We headed out to the nearby town for our dose of Chinese food and definitely with PORK! Haha. This is a new place. So far, it wasn't that bad for a small town here to have delicious and cheap Chinese food. Quite satisfied with it.

Yesterday night, me and my roommate even tried mosquito coil. But to no avail. It didn't go away or die. Die, little creatures! I woke up today and thought that it was just a nightmare.
In fact it wasn't.
Reality strikes. The flow of emotion hit me hard, through me.
I just couldn't control it.
I thought it stopped.
But it did not.
I thought I can sleep over it.
But it's still there. It will come right back at me.
I didn't expect it will hurt me that bad.
Reading the newspaper, there's something inside reminds me of him.
I came online blog hopping, and there it was, something else that reminds me of him.
Sitting in the toilet, tears came flowing down.
Suppressing it but I still can't stop myself from thinking.
I was looking forward for that trip, hoping things would change.
But I guess, I don't have the chance.

Well not really. Sorry for the long hiatus. I think I've loose all that blogging mojo. It's just not my thing anymore. Hmm... maybe I've outgrown of it. And thank you, for those who still reads my blog!

I will blog but not as often as the other avid bloggers. I will blog when I feel like sharing part of my life with you peeps.

Here is a very long post about what I did during this semester which was like 3 months back.

Starting of my semester 4, I'm being such a slacker. Each sem past and this slacking mode is growing. Well that's gonna explain those downturn when my results are out later.

With my dearest girl friends in lecture hall.

I seldom take pictures in uni because I looked really awful and I don't have the mood to dress up. It's all the serious tedious kinda thing. So yea be prepared cause this post is gonna reveal the "kampung" look of me.

I've been to a lot of places up north. This semester was Ipoh and Cameron Highlands. I was never fond of sitting in a car going uphill with those winding roads. It makes me puke. Seriously! Uphill is no fun for me because I get nausea easily. Can't believe I've survived going uphill without feeling dizzy! Well maybe it was the med that I took. I don't know.

This was where we chill during we're at Ipoh. Nice ambiance with cooling outdoor breeze.

The next morning, we headed up to Cameron. Cameron with vege, strawberries and flowers. Needless to say more?

Beautiful fountain eh? I was taken during our co-curricular integration night activity. Scenery at our uni was serene but it's not good enough to heal our homesick souls.

This was our curricular site visit. That explains the whole National Service like t-shirt we're wearing. We went to visit a soft drink factory, Auto City and Seberang Prai City.

After all those trips, definitely there's the busy part too. Assignments, presentation, etc.

This was one of the other project I did with my other friends. We had to design and build out a port prototype. This was the effort of our sleepless nights. There was lotsa "drama" on-going during this project. It was pretty bad. But I'm glad our effort turn out to be quite well done. Kudos to the group!

This holiday is mostly spent with my girlfriend, boyfriend and family.

I didn't manage to hang out with my other friends.

Just can't wait to get it done cause I've seen and heard most of my friends had already graduated with their degree.

This month is gonna end soon and my exams gonna start. Well I shall update you peeps with what I've been up to so far during this month.

During the mooncake festival, my girls in uni had our own mini gathering with KFC and mooncakes. KFC is like our comfort food because we don't have it in campus. We have to travel a distance to get it. So you can imagine our happy faces when we get to eat it. :)

I've even got myself a gift on that day.

It's the damn cockroach! I was trying to avoid it from flying towards me and I fell.

Man, it seems like all the insects there hold grudge against me eh?

Got myself a manicure at an affordable pricing in campus because we've found a friend that took professional manicure courses before.

Though it's not that "professional" looking, at least it's cheap and I had my pampering session.

I came back for my study break. I've got invited by Dinesh during Deepavali. It's really a nice session of catching up with the others although most of our Form 6 classmate couldn't make it. Thanks Dinesh for serving us delicious food and inviting us over your place =)

Ipoh- Penang Trip

This trip was dated last month. I didn't manage to blog about it because I went back to my uni. There are tons of pictures taken by Boon. I shall post up some of the pictures so it's easy to tell what I've been up to during this whole trip. Wonderful trip with wonderful people ;) Justin, Boon, Cat and the boyfriend, KC. Nice meeting you peeps. Really had fun!

This trip is all makan makan like crazy I tell you. From Ipoh eat till Penang. Then from Penang eat till Ipoh.

First stop was the ever famous Air Itam Assam Laksa. All time favourite. No pics cause too busy slurping down laksa.

Then we drop by Kek Lok Si but we're late therefore it was closed.

This trip was so random because we didn't even book any room. Cat wanted somewhere near the beach so we went to Batu Ferenggi to search for an affordable one. But too bad most of it was fully booked. We finally managed to book one room at Tanjung Bungah. Bathed, rest, nap then off to makan again! Off to Northam Beach, if I'm not wrong.

After shopping, went to meet up with friends to plan our island trip to Thailand.

Their keropok lekor and cucur udang was the best. I didn't have it all myself la. Too much. Three of us shared it. It's affordable too. At a price of 3 ringgit per person and you can get all these variety.

And yes I'm one of them. I've got a belly pouch now. *sobs* Can't control temptation. Sigh. I need more determination!

I've totally forgotten to post up a post on your birthday. Hopefully you don't mind me for being such a blur doink. Lols. Well on 21st August was her birthday. I was lucky to met her in uni, not to forget Ting as well. From that day onwards we became best buds in uni. Some of our seniors even asked us to declared ourselves Powerpuff Girls or Charlie's Angel because we're always in three walking around campus.

This girl here, we share something in common. She's also a mix. Her mom is also a Thai and so coincidence her mom is also from my mom's hometown. She's been such a helpful buddy taking care of us. Lols. She's got the potential of being a good housewife. Hehe. Real parental ;)

I didn't managed to blog what I did during my sudden break then I went back my uni already. This is a short post about it.

Sudden holiday for 1 week

I'm back suddenly because my uni was closed down for one week due to H1N1. It happened so suddenly on Sunday. We heard rumors that they will close the main gate at 8pm. Gosh then its like rushing with time. I had just finished class. Then almost everyone was panic. First time in history, UUM was like hell break loose. Cars and people everywhere. Anyway I'm back and I don't really know what to do on my sudden holiday though it's short. Hmmm...

A simple update on my uni life. A start of new semester. I got shifted to a new block and a new room. Right side is mine

Don't really like it. But now I'm used to it. For me, everything at that place I don't have to like it. Just have to get used to it. So to say, to numb myself. I stay at the fourth floor and currently they're renovating the toilet. Such a stupid time to get it renovated. Why can't they just get it done during our 2months break. They really like to see us suffer eh? Whenever we need to use the toilet we have to go down to the third floor. Imagine every morning you wake up and drag yourself to the third floor just to use toilet. We have to share with third floor people so there will be people jam inside. Great huh?

We need water to live. Nearby our hostel there's a water filter machine. Yes, we must pay to buy water but the machine sucks. Always out of service. Depends on its mood. Well we students have to opt for another option. My friends decided to drive to the hallway of our campus where they have free filtered water machine to fill our 5 liters bottles. We managed to filled up 7 bottles of it. Since its free, whatever la.

Some random bad luck have occurred on me ever since I'm in campus. This is the season of the green insects. It's the small green dot. Too small to see.

It's crazy. I got bitten a lot. So we can't on our lights during the night. It's really inconvenient for us to do anything during the night.

See those ugly 'love bite' scars I got around my thigh. No thanks to the green insect ;( Any way to get rid of those scars? I don't think I will go out cause I can't stand to look at it. I'm afraid I will scare off ppl. *sobs*

I got stung by a bee last Friday night. I just stand there and it just attacked me. Random right? It's been awhile I've encounter such pain. Why do I kept attracting insects? Lucky S. Supposed to pack my stuff now but heck I'm blogging right now. Just one update from home before going back.

Few weeks ago, I tried to make full use of my time to enjoy my holiday.
I met up with my ex-form 6 classmates. Had fun talking, sharing, gossiping and laughing.Part of The Bidarians.

Next I somehow went on a buffet spree. I went to Tenji at Solaris for Japanese buffet and the week after, I went for steamboat buffet. This is crazy.
Anyway back to Tenji, their Japanese food didn't taste up to par, compared to their Western food and dessert. I've even tried their oyster. I'm proud that I've tried it but I didn't like the taste of it at all. Angel my dear can slurp it down like it's nothing. Eww... sorry no offence yea. Banyak respect you babe! I can't accept raw seafood. It's just so RAW. Ok, enough of the food but there's no pictures of the food there. I'm too busy gorging up their desserts. Lols. I just can't control my sweet tooth. I think I freak Arif out. Haha. Pictures of cam-whores banyak la. It's part of getting our food digested. XD

After lunch we went to hang out at girlfriend's crib and had a few rounds of Uno to help digest our food. Back to old school. Uno cards are always the classic ;)

I tend to get controlled by my mood. That explain my bad temper, how I treat people and what I do. So yea, as the time for me to go back my uni gets nearer, I'll get extra moody. I'm not in the mood to rant much. This is an update of my trip to Langkawi. Mostly it's pictures and crappy rants. Take it or leave it if you're not interested.

Having breakkie at Old Town before departure. Reached LCCT damn early. Sleepy shit. You can see all my blur looks in this post. Anyways, sleepy not my looks are blur. Shoot me la.

Health precaution in flight. But it's kinda useless cause we didn't even wear it when were coming back. Just plain lazy. Hmmm...

Arrived at destination.

First stop, we went to the sky bridge. Took a cable car to the top. The view there was scenic. Recommended!

Next stop, time to check in and hit the beach!

After we had our dinner we took a stroll at another beach nearby and manage to catch the sunset.

Went to visit the giant Helang.

Day 2, we went island hopping. On the boat approaching other small island.

Arrived at The Pregnant Maiden's island. The tour dude said we could get to a fish spa if we hike to the lake inside. Mana tau, kena trick.

Dipping my leg in the lake makes no difference cause it's too hot for the fish to come out. Hike all the way in there for nothing. Sigh.

After that, we arrived at another island with its clear blue beach. This is really time to hit the water!

We ran, we played sand throwing. Lols. There's no winter in Malaysia, so there's definitely no snow. It's summer baby and all I can say, sand takes the replacement ;)

We went back to the resort and had a short nap. Then all of us went for our somehow personal activities. I went out for a swim at the pool and suntanning by the beach. I love tanned skin! But I think I didn't really gotten a tan cause I don't really see the difference XD

Overall the trip was filled with fun,laughter, stress, blur, tired and a lil' crazy-ness though the beach was kinda disappointing. Next trip should be any island with really beautiful beach ;)

We're on our way to Sungai Congkak. We need to cool ourselves from the hot hot weather. This trip is planned by girlfriend's college mate. Since there's extra place, so me, En and her sis tag along.

We reached our destination in about 45 minutes I guess.

This place is pretty neat. It's well taken care of, except of course the toilet. We barely feel the heat there because we're covered by extremely tall and huge trees. Protection from the Mother Nature eh. So it's our responsibility to protect our environment. Remember to do your part ;)

Kuantan Wedding Trip

I went to Kuantan last week to attend a wedding. It was a short but interesting trip. Upon reaching, dad checked in at the Mega View Hotel where the wedding was held. Without wasting time we went to Teluk Chempedak.

We spotted a lot of miniature hermit crab popping out from the sand and crawling around our feet.After getting a lil' tanning from Mr. Big Bright Hot Sun, we head back to the hotel to get some rest and prepare for the wedding dinner.

I didn't have a good impression of that hotel at first because it's exterior seems old and small. Macam tak ada standard. But when we finally went into the room, the view from the room was indeed scenic.

The wedding was boring. The only thing that's interesting was the food. When we're having almost the last course of the dinner, I was pretty fumed by those uncivilized ah peks there. Imagine you're indoor while people around you are eating and they're are frigging smoking, puffing away like it's the end of the world. KNN. There's even a signboard saying "No Smoking" but they're definitely blinded by those smoke or being ignorant about it. Come on la, there are kids and maybe pregnant lady there. You never know right. Gah... waste my time only complaining about those barbarous ah peks. My nose can't take it and I was suffocating in there. In the end I left early with my brother.

The next day, we checked out and went to next attraction, Gua Charas. We have to climb a steep flight of stairs up and into the cave.

Late last night, I was chatting with someone that used to be very close to me.
I came to realize that it is true that we're from 2 different worlds. Not to be exaggerating. But yea, you get me.
I thought that he was the one when we got back together last time. Lols. That was the young Hui Yi's thoughts. We were doing good and we never even fight before but as time past, I soon realize that he wasn't Mr. Right. We went on our separate ways. He was definitely a fine young man.

It’s late now. I’m tired because I went out shopping with my girlfriend. Though I’m tired, I don’t want to go sleep. Wanting to have the feeling of being at home longer.

I shall make a short update so that I won’t disappoint someone.

I’m back at home sweet home on 2nd which is last Thursday but I’m going back this Thursday also.

Finals are just 1 week away. Planning to study back here so I brought those heavy books back with me. Ended up procrastinating, avoiding and not even touching the books. *shakes head* This is so bad. I can't imagine how is my result's going to be like for this semester. When I’m back in uni it’s gonna be a study marathon and stress. Just shoot me…

This semester I went to many places; Penang Island, Seberang Perai, Padang Besar(border between Perlis and Thailand), Auto City(Prai), Taiping, Parit Buntar and those small places I can’t remember the name.

After all those trip back and fro, I finally fall sick. It was my first time getting sick there. Every sickness attacked me; flu, cough, sore throat, fever. It was bad. The fever just doesn’t go. On and off. Lying down on the bed and sleeping for 2 days. I felt awful and missed home badly because I still have to take care of myself although I got a roommate still I need to do my own laundry, get my own food and drinks and etc. Lucky I recovered pretty fast.

Dad’s going on a company trip again. This time it’s Korea. So fun. Jealous. Talking about Korea, recently I’ve been addicted to Korean songs, movies and fashion style. It started with my brother then I guess he just spread the sickness to me. But he’s worst because he went on a marathon download of Korean songs and MVs. Now the desktop is flooded with it. He even go hunt for those imported Korean junk food. Went youtube to watch Wonder Girls’ clips.

Getting sleepy now. My brain is already in hibernation mode. So I shall sign out now. Good night…

Chiang Mai Day 2

Weather there was cooling. Beautiful flowers surrounded everywhere. We went to visit the malls and city there.

Went to the market to get food again for lunch.

During the night, we took a walk by the riverside.

There were a lots of pubs and restaurants by the riverside. Locals fish there too.

After walking around enjoying the breeze and scenery, we went to search for food. Stop by at Kalare Night Bazaar food centre. Coincidentally they were having a Thai traditonal dance performance.

After food, we continued walking around the night bazaar. I found a stall doing manicure at a cheap price.

So I got my nails done at a price of 180 baht(approx. RM18). While I my fingers were freezing because my fingers need to stay still for it to be blow dry, my parents went for a massage at 140 baht(approx. RM14) per hour. Super bargain!

4 Days, 3 Nights in Chiang Mai

Let's keep it short here. This is how I spend my holidays.

Day 1 in Chiang Mai

Street in Chiang Mai.

Market place with delicious food everywhere. You won't get starve there. Ever since day one we were there my family and I had been a glutton.

Thai Coke. Bro said it tasted better there. He's been downing it every time if he got the chance.

Freshly fried pork skin. Very popular snack there.

Night Bazaar. Two or three streets joined together. It's something like our pasar malam here but it's way huge. There's a whole wide range of imitation goods especially branded bags and accessories, arts and craft, clothes, weapons like the katana, dvds and others.

They even have services like open air Thai massage at the night bazaar.

Off To Chiang Mai Soon

I'm going back Chiang Rai to visit grandma on the 6th. But I'll be taking flight to Chiang Mai first for a short holiday with my family. I will be coming back on the 16th. Holiday seems to be really short for me. Time really flies. The thought of going back to my uni soon really hurts.

Holiday doesn't seems to be a happy thing for me anymore because I still have to go back to the forest. I tend to get emotional whenever I think or talk about my university. There's anger, frustration and resentment. My secondary school teachers used to said "Campus life is really fun, enjoy it while you can". Maybe other university are but the university I'm in, I don't think so. The fact that it is located in a forest already spoilt the whole enjoyable factor. There's barely entertainment there. I'm isolated from the outside world. What happens outside I don't know. Unless I read newspaper or check the internet. When it's time, I wake up. When it's time, I eat. When it's time, I bath. When it's time, I shit. When its' time, I sleep. From my room window I see the same environment. In my room I face the same wall everyday. What else can I do? It's so routine. I felt that I'm a robot. I don't feel alive. This is my life? In life, we need at least some things to spice things up right? I felt stressed up when I'm there.

Furthermore, parents will be really proud and by telling their friends, parents will get praised and other hu ha like "Whoa, you're lucky because your daughter can get into a government university because it's really hard to get into one unless you're really good." For some parents, if you're in a college means you're not that good because everywhere there's college but university there's only a few. No offense but yea these are their mindset. The reason that I'm in the uni? It's because of my family condition. I'm not in a poor family but there's somethings that I don't want to state or go in depth here.

The uni management sucks. They like to make changes yet they never ask us students opinion. They like to see us suffer. What is wrong with them I don't know. Maybe they're in the forest for such a long time so they're mentally unbalance. The uni stated that they provide wireless in the whole campus. Bullshit! My room don't even have a connection. All lies...

Enough of all these. I'm so dead tired of thinking about this. Waste my time...
